Our words are important. We need to realize that. They set the boundaries of our lives. Faith is always expressed in words (Mark 11:23). When you believe a thing in your heart and confess it with your mouth, then it becomes real to you. It takes faith to forgive! In fact, our faith won't work unless we forgive. Forgiveness is twofold: we must learn to forgive others; and we must also learn to forgive ourselves. Before we can go on with God, we must forget our past.
